"Fire and tall buildings" is a half-day workshop in which Neil Badley, Technical Director at MLM Group, will explore the issues relevant to surveyors associated with the Grenfell Tower fire and with other tall buildings.
Neil will be familiar to many who have attended the Building Surveyors' Oxford Briefing conference in recent years. With this half-day workshop format, we're giving Neil more time to go into details and to enable attendees to ask questions and promote debate.
This year's series of John O'Halloran Symposia started in London on 9 May, before travelling to Cardiff, Manchester and Edinburgh. Organised by LionHeart, the aim of these events is to challenge the stigma attached to mental illness and to raise awareness of the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing.
The first event in 2016, in memory of John O'Halloran FRICS, aimed to be a conversation starter within the property industry and act as a catalyst for change.
These half-day workshops are free to attend:
15 May Cardiff
22 May Manchester
3CPD provides cost-effective continuing professional development (CPD) for chartered surveyors and others working in the property industry, primarily in the region covered by Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. This is achieved by organising events throughout the year, during the day and evenings, covering the latest developments in law and practice across the main property disciplines.
